the putz in charge of the bus routes/times needs a big boot up where it hurts! they have changed the time and route of my bus without telling me! there is now only 2 an hour instead of 3 and the bus i get to work now leaves 5 mins later than b4 which of course makes me miss the connection at the other end! aaa grrr ug. i hate public transport, its so depressing.

um... well, there you go! and there it went. so much for double yellow lines. smoke me a parking metre i will be home for kippers. or some such and that is that is that! i think i missed that one!? the ibf couldnt decode this one! ha!

daisy can now sit up all by herself!

gosh i havent updated in a while! i discovered facebook and the novelty hasnt worn off yet! Baby Daisy is going great guns, she has started solids and devours anything we give her! She is growing fast and on the verge of crawling and sitting by herself. Still no sign of any teeth, but her hair is starting to grow. We are off to wales for her grandads 65th bday! She can now say BAH! and has got very good at blowing raspberries!
Im now at a point where i could do with a break so she is starting nursery next week for an afternoon, well half an hour with me with her but building up to half a day! im hoping to use this time to learn to drive.
Im also designing a website for my hairdressers, which is going great guns, im just a bit slow/crap at the programming side of things and how to host it online etc... have the marvelous Lottie coming to help me out, which is a relief/god send! Still playing chess but not having too good a season as our board one cant play so we all playing a board up so of course im getting beaten! these people have twice my grade!!
AWWW look at those gorgeous chubby cheeks!

This yr did see me lose a dear friend in Rackle of whom i still have no idea of how to mend any bridges or if a freindship is savalagable. I miss her (and knitting and coffee). I miss being in her life and it still hurts she didnt share the HAPPIEST day of my life with us, because she had seen me through my shittiest... i was 33, 5 months pregnant, full of hormones and have no idea what went wrong... i hope one day we talk again.. who knows?
MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IS:
TO BRUSH MY TEETH EVERY DAY AND USE MOUTHWASH COS MY DENTIST HAS FIXED MY MOUTH AND I WANT IT TO STAY THAT WAY!!

in no particular order!:
John had bday, we did Murder Mystery evening was soo good and soo funny! Ed stole the show i do think tho.
Daisy is nearly sitting up and she LAUGHED for the first time today! She has started babbleing on and on too which is soo sweet.
Im knackered and have no life!!
Went to see Mave on his bday and drank lots of lovely port which made me squiffy, but not too squiffy to get a draw at chess, which doesnt sound like a result but everyone in team lost their game and my opposition had a grading of 120!! Also our venue keeps double booking us with the CARAVAN club of all things so we now have a lovely new venue in the shape of the Fountain pub which is just round the corner from my house! They hold a rawk disco on a saturday night and have hobgoblin on tap!
Chrimbo is looking stressful n hetic, so kinda not looking forward to it..
My niece has given birth to a baby boy they called Keegan! He was born on Johns bday and Keegans daddy has the same birthday too!
Have been watching lots of films lately. Blades of Glory sticks out as the funniest so far.

I was having a debate with the husband last night about if Bat Out of Hell was "better" than Appetite for Destruction. I reckoned it was a generation thing! and that they were both iconic albums that were the soundtrack to your youth, depending on your generation. It is hard to compare the 2 in the end. They are both very different albums aimed at a very different audience i felt. BooH in my opinion is more "innocent" whereas Destuction is about what it says on the tin, dancing with mr brownstone, and anything else in excess. It was hard to find catorgories in which to compare them, technically they are both excellent for their time. I thought MLs voice was better than Axls. Both Karaoke "classics" albeit i think ML is requested more? (not that that makes it good/bad). Record sales, i think ML takes it. From a personal point of view i think i have more memories attached to BooH so it tipped the scale in favour to ML. You cant beat a bit of would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses! YES!
What do you think?
i have a feeling the husband may have beaten me to this post but he has some different friends to me, but some the same so sorry for cross-posting if you get both?
We are still debating this you see!
